  • New this year: Creator Camp - As Seen on Shark Tank!

    We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Creator Camp to bring some new camps to Creative Kids Place. Creator Camp's mission is to redirect a child’s relationship with technology from consumption to creation by teaching digital media art. They offer camps in animation, filmmaking, video content creation, music production, and game design to kids ages 6-12.

  • Camp Costs

    1 Full Week = $330 + tax (Short Weeks on June 30, Jul. 2-4 & Aug. 5-8 = $264 plus tax)

    If you register 2 or more siblings for the full week camp then a $20 discount will be applied to the second & 3rd child during registration.

    Specialty Camps:

          Creator Camps: $360 plus tax (Short Week on Aug. 5-8 = $288 plus tax)

          On the Go Excursions (Ages 6-10) (Ages 7-12): $380 plus tax

          African Lion Safari Week: There is an additional fee of $10 per week plus tax for the week of Jul. 7 to 11th

  • Summer Camp Hours

    Camps will run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with extended hours available.

  • Summer Camp Extended Hours

    Extended hours are available from 7:30 am to 9:00 am and from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The cost is $30.00 plus HST per child for the morning portion and $30.00 plus HST for the afternoon portion.

    Outings

    Every Wednesday we take the kids on an outing by school bus. The outings for each week can be found on the Camp Schedule & Outings at the end of the page.

  • Pizza Fridays

    Every Friday a pizza & juice lunch is included. Kids will get 2 slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza. If your child has any dietary restrictions please enter it during registration.

  • Water Days

    On Fridays we will take the kids to the splash pad at Celebration Square close to Sheridan College.

  • New This Year for Kids New to Camp

    We have introduced a new program for kids that are new to camps or for younger kids that have difficulty in new environments. Each week we will have the same main teacher in selected camps. These camps are highlighted in yellow on the schedule at the end of the page. This way kids will have a familiar face each week and will have some of the same kids week to week much the same as in school.

  • What to Bring

    Kids should bring a lunch everyday except on Fridays, snacks (we have 1 morning and 1 afternoon snack break), a labelled water bottle, a hat and sunscreen. Our facility is nut free so please make sure lunches and snacks are nut free. They should arrive with sunscreen already applied. We will have the kids reapply sunscreen after lunch. Kids in the sports camp should wear running shoes. 

  • Email Information

    You will receive an email a week before each camp with drop off and pick instructions and specific information for that week 

  • Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to the first day of camp by email. An admin fee of $25 will apply for each week and each child cancelled. Changes in the camp dates can be made at any time with no fee providing there is space in the new week.

Camp Descriptions

Creator Camp: For all Creator Camps an ipad is required (android tablets such as Samsung will not work). Kids should bring one if they have one otherwise you can rent one for $20 during registration for the 1st week they need one. For all other weeks they can rent one no charge. 

Creator Camp: You Tube Creators (Ages 7-12) - New!

Students dive into the world of YouTube by creating channel intros, logos, creative videos and YouTube Shorts, learning the essentials of engaging content creation! Each day, students master core video creation skills, crafting engaging content like skits, tutorials, and vlogs that captivate viewers!

Nothing is ever uploaded to YouTube during camp — we want to give parents the choice. Instead, all videos are shared directly with you via email. After camp, you can decide whether to share their work on YouTube, allowing them to proudly showcase their projects!

Creator Camp: YouTube Gamers (Ages 7-12) - New!

At YouTuber Gamers Camp, students learn to plan, record, and edit their own gaming videos, building technical skills and creativity as they create engaging, meaningful content with commentary and fun edits! Each day, students will master essential video-making skills, creating exciting gaming content that's fun, engaging, and worthy of a virtual audience!

Creator Camp: Roblox Game Masters & 3D Game Developers (Ages 6-12) - New!

Roblox Game Masters:

Dive into the world of Roblox game development! Campers will learn to create immersive mini-games, design unique characters, and develop storylines to bring their Roblox worlds to life. Each day, campers build a new game element, mastering skills in design, and gameplay testing.

3D Game Developers:

Give your child a strong understanding in game mechanics and 3D level design with this exciting 3D Game Developers camp! Students will create new games while learning essential game development concepts, from racing games to action-survival mechanics!

Creator Camp: Hollywood Filmmakers (Ages 7-12) - New!

Give your child a strong foundation in the principles of filmmaking, storytelling, and editing! Throughout the camp, students will storyboard, shoot, and edit their very own short films! Each day the students will learn the key elements and history of filmmaking as they work together to create a film worthy of an Oscar!

Creator Camp: Special Effects (Ages 7-12) - New!

Give your child a strong foundation in special effects! Kids will learn essential VFX editing techniques, create stunning digital effects, and produce their own action-packed skits!

Each day brings multiple new topics and projects, ranging from explosions, clones, and even super powers!

Creator Camp: Music & Beats Producers (Ages 6-12) - New!

Ignite your child's musical passion at Music and Beats Producers Camp, where students create and record original songs, add diverse instrumental elements, and produce a music video to share with family and friends.

Creator Camp: 2D Cartoon Animators (Ages 6-12) - New!

In 2D Cartoon Animators camp, students explore the art of traditional hand-drawn animation, brought to life with the latest cutting-edge technology! Students will dive into new frame-by-frame animation techniques through fun, collaborative projects. Along with mastering the 12 principles of animation, they'll experience the teamwork that goes into real animation production—planning transitions, coordinating with fellow animators, and designing unique characters!

 STEM (Ages 4-5) (Ages 6-9)  

What is STEM? STEM is Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. STEM is everywhere today and in everything we do. It builds and teaches creativity, problem solving, life skills, ingenuity, resourcefulness, patience and curiosity. STEM is what shapes the future as our world grows and changes.

Ages 4 to 5 : For this age group, some of the projects include making a kaleidoscope, creating and launching a straw rocket, making a catapult and building a paddle boat that floats. Kids will also be introduced to coding using Blue-Bot, a bluetooth programmable floor robot.

Ages 6 to 9 : Kids will build a variety of projects including a playground, a catapult, a treehouse and a bridge. They will also do some science experiments such as erupting volcanoes and making elephant toothpaste. They will learn to code with block programming using Edison the robot.

Little Sparkz (Ages 4-6) - New!

We have partnered with Brightsparkz Tutors who are a team of experienced educators to ensure that children thrive in their Kindergarten years and enter Grade 1 with confidence. Campers will participate in a variety of literacy, numeracy and creative activities, including projects they'll be proud to bring home!

Outdoor Learning (Ages 4-6) - New!

Kids will learn numeracy, literacy & STEM thru nature and outdoor play. Some of the activities include an alphabet scavenger hunt, sight words water play, a nature memory matching game, a nature STEM marble run, outdoor science experiments, a nature number hunt, a nature find and count activity and more.

Fun with Food (Ages 4-6) (5-7) - New!

We are excited to offer this camp this summer where kids will enjoy making yummy treats and will also prepare something fun for lunch (except on the field trip day) in a non cooking environment. Some of the treats they will make include Unicorn fudge, teddy bear race cars, penguin crackers and apple fruit lollipops. Some of the lunches includes a race car sandwich and chicken wraps.

Creative Crafts (Ages 4-6) (Ages 5-8) (Ages 7-11)

Campers will paint a beautiful ceramic piece which will be fired in our kiln, build clay pieces with polymer clay, paint t-shirts, create pearler bead designs, make clay pot and wood crafts many more.

Crafts/Stuff a Bear (Ages 4-6) (Ages 5-8)

Campers will make a variety of crafts like build clay pieces with polymer clay, paint t-shirts, create pearler bead designs, make clay pot crafts and more. Kids will get to stuff their own teddy bear and take it home. They can choose between many options such as a unicorn, a dinosaur, a bear, a dog, a cat, a dragon, a koala, a fox and others.

Outer Space Camp (Ages 4-6)  

Kids will go on an adventure to outer space! They will spend the week learning about space, making space theme crafts, activities and experiments! Some of the activities include making a satellite, building a space shuttle, participate in astronaut training, making erupting moon rocks, making fizzy moon paint and much more!

All About Dinosaurs (Ages 4-6) (Ages 5-7)

Kids will learn about the different dinosaurs, go on a dinosaur dig to look for fossils, make a clay dinosaur, play dinosaur themed games and make dinosaur crafts.

Sports Development (Ages 4-6) (Ages 7-10)

In this camp kids will explore different sports such as soccer, field hockey, badminton, basketball and disc golf.

Adventure Camp (Ages 4-6) (Ages 7-11)

This is a traditional camp with a variety of activities held mostly outdoors weather permitting. Kids will participate in thing like a scavenger hunt, outdoor games, drama, science, archery and geocaching.

Cake Decorating/Crafts (Ages 5-7) (Ages 8-12)

Campers will learn how to use the different tools for decorating cakes, cupcakes and cookies. They will work with fondant and buttercream icing. Please note that this is only a decorating class and there will not be any baking.

Lego Robotics (Ages 5-8)  

Kids will build models with motors and sensors that can then be programmed to move and make sounds using simple drag and drop block technology. Kids will engage in learning experiences that make science come to life. Some of the topics/models include a science rover, robust structures (earthquake), a frog metamorphosis, plants and pollinators, drop and rescue helicopter and flooding prevention (dam).

Spa Science (Ages 6-11)  

In this camp, kids will make different soaps, bath bombs, lip balm, lip gloss, foot scrubs, facial masks and may other items.

Minds in Motion (Ages 6-8) - New!

Looking for a camp that combines active movement, outdoor fun, and learning? We have teamed up with Brightsparkz Tutors who are a team of experienced educators to bring you Minds in Motion camp! This program brings back classic games while boosting kids' literacy and numeracy skills – the perfect summer mix!

On the Go Excursions Program 1 (Ages 7-12) - New!

This new camp is for kids who are adventurous. Everyday kids will board a bus and head out for an adventure. Because of the daily outings this camp is priced higher than the other camps at $380 plus tax.

Places kids will go: Active Mississauga (active games), Aerosports, Mini golf & swimming, Ultimate Laser Tag and the regular weekly outing to Wet 'n Wild.

Thi new camp is for kids who are adventurous. Everyday kids will board a bus and head out for an adventure. Because of the daily outings this camp is priced higher than the other camps at $380 plus tax.

Places kids will go: Legoland, Funvilla (trampoline/obstacle courses/arcade), Bowling & show, Mountsberg (Birds of Prey) and the regular weekly trip to Downey's Farm.

Ultimate Detective (Ages 8-10) - New!

A thrilling Who-Done-It camp program designed for aspiring detectives and mystery enthusiasts! This unique program blends problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking, offering a fun and engaging adventure to hone investigative skills.

Sewing (Ages 8-12)  

Kids will learn to use a sewing machine. They will learn how to thread a machine and to wind a bobbin. They will sew many projects such as aprons, tote bags, beach bags, pyjama shorts, water bottle slings, animal stuffies, pillows and more.
