Can I see how many spots are remaining for a camp?
Yes, if you click on the 'Register/View Available Spots' button in the big blue box labeled 'Camp Availability' near the top of each location page. It will tell you how many spots are available for each camp each week for that location. If the camp is full it will say 'FULL'. If you would like to check the availability at one of our other locations simply click on the desired location tab at the top of that page.

Are tax receipts provided?
You may use your registration confirmations or you can log into your Jumbula account to get a receipt. Once you have logged into your account select the 3 bars on the top right corner. From the menu select 'Reports' then select 'Dependent Care Receipt'. In the Report Criteria box select the year that you would like the receipt for then hit the green 'View Report' button.

Are lunches provided?
Lunches are not provided except on Fridays where a pizza and juice lunch is provided for all campers. If your child is in a cooking camp then lunch will be prepared by the kids except on the outing day which is usually on Wednesday.

Can I transfer my child to a different camp or another week ?
Yes you may transfer providing there is space in the other camp. There is no fee to transfer. Please send an email to info@creativekidsplace.ca with your child's name and what camp and what week to transfer to. Please do not call us for transfers.

What is the ratio of instructor per child?
For groups aged 4 to 5 and 4 to 6 we have 1 instructor per 6 kids. All other groups there is 1 instructor per 10 kids. When we go on outings the ratios are as follows:
Groups with kids aged 4 to 5 and 4 to 6: 1 instructor for 6 kids
Kids aged 5 to 8: 1 instructor for 7 to 8 kids
Kids aged 9 to 12: 1 instructor for 10 kids

Do you accept subsidies?
We can, however subsidies from the Region of Peel and Region of Halton only deal with 'Not for Profit' camps which we are not.

Can I register more than one camp at a time and pay only once?
Yes. After registering for the first camp there will be a button on the top right hand side labeled 'Select Another Camp'. There is also a button below that one labeled 'Register For Same Program' to quickly add a 2nd child to the same program that you just registered for.

Will I receive information about the camp like where to drop off after I register?
Yes you will receive an email the week before your camp starts with drop off and pick up procedures, what to bring and where the field trip is that week.

What is your cancellation policy?
We require 2 weeks notice and a $25 fee per week per child. All cancellations must be made by email to info@creativekidsplace.ca and not by phone. We only require the child's name and the week to cancel. You may transfer your child to another week or camp with no fees providing there is space. Again please send transfer request to info@creativekidsplace.ca

What are the camp hours?
Camps run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with early drop off starting at 7:30 or 8:00 am and late pick up until 5:30 or 6:00 pm depending on the location for an additional fee.

What should kids bring to camp?
Kids should bring a lunch everyday except for Friday as a pizza and juice lunch is included. We also have 2 snack breaks a day so they will needs snacks. Kids in the Cooking camps will be making lunch except on the field trip days so a lunch is not required unless they are very picky eaters. Also pack a labelled water bottle, sunscreen and a hat.

What day are the outings on?
Outings are usually on Wednesdays but may sometimes be on Thursdays.
